Maple Dresser

This picture post forum was looking a little lonely. So I decided to post my newest creation. I only have to put a couple coats of wax on the tops to give a little more protection. All maple solids and veneer with 2 coats of Tung Oil.

Re: Maple Dresser

I have to say though - the picture does it very little justice. The tops have a pretty good figure to them - a little curly and a little fleck that doesn't really show up.

Re: Maple Dresser

Thanks ABA, Crankshaft. I didn't get the wax finish on the top in time and some cleaner came in and moved a humidified on top of it - it spilled water on the top and now it has raised grain in that spot.. back down the stairs and refinish. Oh well - I need the exercise.
