OK, how about this for starters... I couldn't get a good farther away shot of this to show where it is, but the first picture is the intersection of two rake sections on an interior staircase. The vertical oak piece you see on the right half of the picture is the bottom of a box newel post. Talk about your basic CA-CA...
The second picture is the same staircase up a little farther. They put the rosette on the wall first (which is butched all by itself), then ran some inverted base AROUND IT.... I see this stuff ALL THE TIME and 99.9% of the time it's MEXICAN "craftsmanship"..

Re: Less Than A Year Later

Like Emerson said, I've never seen a TT deck NOT do that.

I think a stool would have been about as good as those steps.

Why are so many sure she got what she paid for? What did she pay for this deck? There are some out there charging top dollar for sub standard work.

Re: Less Than A Year Later

Steps are not proportionate to the deck & the addition of a hand rail would have increased safety & also enhance the overall look. Right now those steps look like the ones that come with a hot tub you buy at the depot.

Re: Less Than A Year Later

i did a deck with the timbertech about a year and a half ago, hopefully it was the last, didnt enjoy the experience at all. the way it has the grooves looks like ass.

they gave us a edger trim which looks like a outside corner for panelling within 6 months is was all broken to hell and coming off. rep said to pl and shoot it with a 18 gauge, all that did was cause it to explode
