Latest Project

Just finished this up this morning... The deck was there already I just put in a new beam to span the 18' opening. Added the columns, arches, rails, and spiral staircase. The homeowner cordinated the stucco work and the concrete patio.

Re: Latest Project

Robert,
That is beautiful! What a nice addition to the portfolio.
Did you design it too, or did the HO aleady know what they wanted?

I assume you used a PT glulam? I think you said in another post that in the past you paid about $8 a l/ft, I was just quoted at $31 l/ft for a 16ft span. Just curious what they're costing you now.

Re: Latest Project

Homie had the basic idea planed out just needed someone capable to put it all together. I used a double 1 3/4" X 11 7/8" Microlam for the beam I flashed around it before putting it in and the archway that it is in is also watertight.
