Finish Carpenter Framing???

Finish carpenter framing???-image041.jpg We were a little slow this winter. So we were lucky to have some cool framing to do instead. I took 10 progression shots but this is the only one that came out!

Maybe you can hook them up with some bow thrusters for more realism.

It would have been funny until the roofers papered it if you'd have gotten some spray paint and painted "NASA" on the side.

How'd you get it up there? I can see you on the phone right now to Labor Ready. "Ah, yeah. I need about 30 guys for about 15 minutes. Oh, make sure they all have a back brace."

Was the cost of the crane offset by the labor saved building it on the deck? Maybe they have cheap cranes out your way. Maybe you lifted it up with a jobsite Petibone?

Re: Finish Carpenter Framing???

It was a huge crain that did a blind pull from the front of the house. It took 3 days for 2 of us to frame and sheathe on the ground and a hr to boom into place. We had the crane reserved for a half a day anyways to boom up two cupolas. That cone roof was also covered w/ copper.
