Re: Finally A Decent
Get the 22, dont even think about a smaller one, unless you dedicated it to one tool.
The rails are pretty sweet, make some marks, set the rail down, go to town. The one you got done looks just like the other one The tables are counter height, a very comfortable height to work on. |

Re: Finally A DecentQuote:
the caulk was actually pl ultimate caulking, was not to bad easy to work with but you need mineral spirits for keeping the finger and material clean!

Re: Finally A Decent
I have a 22, it is the perfect size for whatever you want to do with it. The 22 and the 33 are the same machine, different capacity.
The mini and midi are the same with diferent capacities. The 33 is too big to haul around. The 22 has dual HEPA filters, you can also use it as a clean air filter as well. You have an old dust bag off a miter saw or something? Stick it on your 75, you will be amazed how much dust goes in that bag. The 55" rail is almost too small for the TS 75 to cross cut sheet goods. The 75" is perfect for that. I have 2 55" rails, one 42" and one 118". I want the 197" but, I am afraid I would destroy that one. |

Re: Finally A Decent
Well Turned out to be a good weeks work solo, and by not using a helper on this saved some cash to pay back some of my addictions to the green bug!
ended up painting the certainteed trim one coat, the customer insisted so i gladly complied.$$$ basically now covered all my impulse buys, and ended up picking up a new multi purpose ladder at the cheapo, definitly improved my scaffolding ! hopefully others on the block will get the maintance bug this year, i could do this work blind now that i have the right set up!!.. Thinking of adding the Kapex to my arsenal, already listed my dw718 on craigslist!! DAMN YOU FESTOOL![]() DAMN YOU

Re: Finally A Decent
Thanks tom,
it really wasnt to bad, i kept it to a pile and picked up most with a dust pan daily, then at the end of the job i brought my back pack blower and blew off the entire driveway..Customer was pleased! Definitly goin to invest in a ct vac or maybe a fein vac i also heard was good!

Re: Finally A Decent
Warner, good point i forgot about the stackability of the systainers! Thanks as always
theres no cheap way out when you go GREEN ![]() Steve, inside right now is a mess i will clean it for you then take some pics! you got a sprinter to i believe ? my layout is standard metal shelvings, i cut the partition so i can fit 16's and close the doors(i didnt want ladder racks so i can fit thru most drive thrus, then right above the hole i made a stand to hold a miter saw,and table saw, and along the drivers side made a trim rack for mics trims. im actually thinking of redoing the inside, with some composite decking and pvc trim i have laying around the garage!!

Re: Finally A Decent
why tar paper and not ice and water shield? i use ice and water shield on all exterior jobs, i.e. shingleing or replacing windows? is there a differnece, obviously besides cost as ice and water shield is much more expensive.....
