Nice, looks clean. Two things,..The scarf joint on the first pic looks cock eyed and stands out , different color, the band trim. And the main stair on the second pic, was it cut too short?? Cuz it lands on a odd little box thing before the landing?? Nice work, thanks for the posts.

I did end up changing that board on the first pic because of the color difference drove me nuts. I am pissed at my self for not taking pictures when i was done with the flower beds we built and every thing. On the other deck i cant remember for the life of me what is up with the stairs, i am going to have to stop by there and refresh my memory.

Nice clean lines... like seeing the fascia, the chamfered beam ends.
I'd stick w/ the method you used on the elevated deck for attaching handrail posts,
the other ones have too shallow a connection...not enough bite.

Yeah after i did that on the first deck pictured i would have wished i would have done it the other way. I had to run some screws from the inside out to solid it up more. Live and learn.
