qswo right?
Very cool Gus, its a very simple yet elegant design. I specially like how you resolved the arch dilemma above the pocket doors.
Just out of curiosity, what is the finisher charging for finish?

Cuz there is a 1/4" of level straight out from the face of cabinet in the profile. And I thought we could fasten the crown straight down from the top through the backside of the 45. No fasteners at all on the face. That all worked great once it was cut properly.

My envy of you certainly does not stop there. It's your people skills where I am in another league.

Is that another underhanded insult? As far as I can see, the way you treat me, your people skills really suck too.
All in all, the cabs look great. I suppose everything went really smooth until you got your hands on that crown and screwed it up.
22 hours to make and install crown, now I see why you need to outsource stuff.

First part - Did you know I can throw a football about 45 yards - underhanded. You couldn't catch one throw on a rope from close range. You might get hurt.
second part - yeah, pretty much true.

Only a girl would throw a football underhanded. Must be you on the left.

Good observation Leo. See how she has a nice smooth delivery and a nice wrist whip at the end of the stroke? That creates velocity.
I am a proud member of the Les-Bro club. maybe that is what you are picking up on.

Upon further review she even has a little hip rotation in her delivery.
That is funny as all heck by the way

On a finishing note Gus. On several occasions you say that when you sent your pcs out they get finished with a pre cat. Why not a more durable post cat?
I myself use the precat for a cost savings. If you don't use it all you can pour it back into the can. Usually out of house professional finishing services use post cat exclusively. Or is this some California regulation thing. I know that MLC makes a low VOC post cat that is California compliant.
Just curious.
