Current Jobs

Got a few different things goin on right now...

One is a dining room...its not finished yet, still have to make a lit coffer for it and some other small things.

The next was just ripping up some carpet and slamming some AC plywood on a wall in an office for utilities....odd jobs like this keep the finish work coming...

And last is the lit coffers under constuction for a French/Asian resturant...I got two of these ready to be hung tommorrow morning.

Pretty snazzy dining room.

Too bad you didnt have enough room get a radius transom on the double door to match the radius with the windows.
Still looks good though.

Its all unfinished material. The painter is coming in behind me. So that is just unfinished MDF with profiled pine wrapped around the edge.

? Not really sure to be honest how that is handeled....not my area. The electrictions will come in after me and do their thing....from what I have gathered from every other time some kind of sheet material has gone up there are box extentions that are added. That room is only part of an office remodel that is splitting one office space into two...so there are inspections going on. Now that I started thinking about it, the low voltage sub asked for two quads of power to be put on the wall so I know something is happening there....

And why in the world do you assume I am some kind of hack?

Is it my Husky Air Compessor or my Ryobi job site table saw, maybe the Harbor Freight Micro Pinner? Am I assumed to be a hack b/c I didn't buy a Bosch or Dewalt or Makita etc etc?

Assuming the worst of people here is a bad move. Most posters seem to be at the top of their game. Better to make a friendly suggestion.

I always carry box extenders on cabinet jobs, as a courtesy for the sparkies, but I leave them for them to install. Saves them a trip back out to their van and lets them know I want the job to be done right (we trim guys don't trust the electricians either)

Always fun to make the rope molding look good at the miters.

Nice work...

I just can't take my eyes off those hideous dining room chairs...
