Looks great, but those lights are great at first then after a year or so the sockets degrade. Be prepared to replace them. I have a client that has those exact fixtures and I wound up putting florescent light bulbs in them cause the halogens kept burning up the sockets (I replaced 10 of the 12 sockets previously). Just an FYI.

Unfortunately the posts are staying, the roof framing was pretty weird, the ridge was not self supporting, and i did not want to change it. I removed a wall that was helping to support the ridge, sooo the post are loaded on a steel girder and i feel better about the structure. Now when i wrap these in cherry, and perform a few other design tricks, i will make these posts an interesting design detail.G, thanks for the feedback, ps i hope these light sockets dont end up breaking my balls in a year.

Ok, for you I will let it slide. I am sure you really wanted those gone. I want to see your solution for making those seem like they belong. The good ones can pull that off without a hitch!!
