Well..... if you are using a mac, I have no idea, but if you are using a PC with Windows XP, there are several programs that will do it. I personally have found this freebie from Microsoft to be the easiest.

I had the same problem. Size of pic was too big in KB. If you are using a PC with vista open the pic then at the top of the screen look for open. select windows office picture manager. Go to picture on left side of header and select resize. Then on the right side use custom format size and select 300x 400 (need to change existing) this will resize your pic into a size and KB that can be uploaded onto this site. Good luck. Click compress
Choose size according to description such as "Web mail" or "Email"
Save or save as
