Board & Batten Shutters

A picture of a pair of shutters I made for a client. I made 4 pairs for her house, she wants more and so do her neighbors
They are made from Cypress and painted with S/W Industrial Enamel, the paint her painter used to do the trim on the house.

How much did you charge to make those, material and labor? We did a mid atlantic shutter job a few months ago, and paid almost $400/pair

Hey, when did you sneak over to my house and put those shutters on?

Did my wife put you up to this?

Cypress was $1.92 BF
The price came out to about $295 per window. 76" H 22" W
Next time I will make sure I get the Cypress planed down to 13/16.
Most of the time was at the thickness planer
