Another Fence

Modified 3/21 Progression pics posted ahead:
My back cannot handle 30 post holes in Va's red clay so I brought on some help. This was the first job that I had my camera on so excuse the pictures, I'm in training.

I'll just skip to the money shot since my max has been reached and I can't post any more.

Re: Another Fence

Had to take out the "alleged" pissing in the bottle pic to get to the money shot. Wish I could have put a couple more in. The corner at the stop sign had a nice wrap around the radial sidewalk that I was happy with.

Re: Another Fence

Looks good . I appreciate the work that goes into this type of fence (and that's a good sized fence). Lots of cutting involved. Did you make up jigs (to mark and cut the material) to keep all your curves even?

Re: Another Fence

You know, one thing just occurred to me...

Seeing as that's on a corner lot, I'm surprised you were allowed to build it at 6'. In my area, we're restricted to a certain height on corner lots.

Nice job BTW!

Snapper, when it denies you pics, it provides a link to delete a few older ones to make room.

I maxed on the shed pics. I was going to leave them up for another week or so then break it down to the finish shot and post the fence progression.

Re: Another Fence

Hmm. Mt V arches were marked with string hanging post to post. Holes were rock and red clay and the auger is lucky to get 6" in it. Threw a bobcat around for neighbors deck footers, rendering it useless. Hello digging bar. No nails on this job. All S.S. screws.

Re: Another Fence

2 guys 6 days. Footers in red clay, and screwing all the slats held us back a lil.
