4'OC 30' In The Air


Couldnt get any Humming birds and did not have the budjet for truckloads of scafolding so we built it on the ground and picked it up.

Round here that crane is 175 per hour. They start the clock when they leave the shop. Much cheaper than scaffold rental and the set up and tear down.

Thanks for the education......

I knew the average costs of crane rental but am clueless concerning scaffolding.

I think it was a little over $800. A 4 hour minimum. My only real concern was the whole thing wanting to fold up when it was lifted so we put some 2x10 temporary collars in.
Framed the wall on the left then the roof on top of that. Moved the roof in the road stood the wall and set the roof on top.
The trusses were three 2x trusses plyed togeather to make 6x cords.
Like they use to build the salt storage barns for DoT.
