2" Thick Jatoba/saved From Dumpster


found this jatoba about 15 yrs ago in a dumpster.
about 10pcs total,and just this week someone asked me for a mantle and i suggested this. i went threw,2circular saw blades,1 12" miter saw blades,1 10" tablesaw blade, a box of sand paper.this stuff is rock hard!i will post pics after i install it.

nice find, and nice re use, sweet and simple, cant wait to see the final

I'd watch that sig line if I were you, stone mountain will prolly try to come at you with copywright infringement

Stone Mountain might have my local used car dealer looking at him for "infringement"..he has that sig. line on his cards and has been in business for over 40 years.

thanks guys,i got more of this stuff if anyone else once a shot of it.

that pcs on the bench weighs approx 70 lbs
i have 11's there well over a hundred!

the home owner needed it to be 16" so i tried to biscuit it together and gorilla glue it for 2 days with pipe clamps. that failed so i drilled the back and drove 5" ledger locks into it.

I'd love to take some of that stuff off your hands....but as one of NJ's ten worst carpenter's and one of NJ's ten best tooth pick makers....I think it's in everyone's best interest if I just admire the masters' work.
