Wood Fill For Cabinets
We are building a set of natural maple cabinets. What is the best wood fill to use that won't show up? Once the wood fill is dried, all we are going to do to them is put poly on them, there is no stain. Can someone tell me what the best fill is to use? Thank you

Re: Wood Fill For Cabinets
They make tinted filler to match stain or wood. I saw a fella take some really fine saw dust once and mix it with a clear adhesive, it worked really well.

Re: Wood Fill For Cabinets
Glass has the idea. Fine sawdust and white glue make a good filler. The dust must be from the same wood of course. Don't use yellow glue it dries yello. White dries clear. It will be sandable and take the poly like the rest of the wood. White Tightbond or even Elmers.Dust works well if from a med bandsaw blade. Mix to a consistancy like putty.
