Tape Measure Preferance??
Ok , probably a boring question. What tape measure you all use, i use a 30' stanley powerlock. Anyone still use a folding rule??

I was considering a bionic range-finding retinal implant until I considered head allowance (like when you have to add for the tape case.) I realized that on good days I would have to add considerably more than on bad days, so I'll stay with my 30' LeverLok after all.

I like my 25' power lock for most interior work, but is has to be the power lock with the rounded case, not the old school one. The new style is much more comfortable in my hand.
 And yes, sometimes I still use a stick rule with that brass extention do-smack-thing for taking inside measurements....most of the time I don't even read it, I just transfer the mark from the extended rule. FatMaxs are great for their stand out, but the curl on the tape pisses me off. |
