Subbing A Frame
A construction management firm wants me to bid out labor on a new home frame. I have to pick the plans up and meet the customer later this morning. I'm bidding against a St Louis local framing sub so in the ballpark is a must.
Any of you fellas have an idea what subs are getting in the Midwest? I'm getting frame fever again and could really use the doe, so blowing the ceiling off this bid could be a really bad deal. Input? Thanks Bob

Re: Subbing A Frame
hi Glass,
My framing subs price varies quite a bit depending on the severity of the roof lines. I can give you some examples of what I pay, If you can give me an idea of how chopped up it is. is it 1.- Gravy Train Gable 2- Few Dormers and hips Not bad 3- Hiptacular 4- OK this is ridiculous 5- Holy f*@#, what idiot drew this up
