repairing carpenter bee damage

I've got a job w/ a lot of damage here and there. lots of fascia damage and some railing (2x4 pine construction). fascia's easy-wrap it with aluminum-but railing can't be wrapped and/or it would look crappy with one side wrapped the other side not (lots of buildings).

I've seen some prior damage filled and repainted-some dimpling can be seen but after 8-9 years it's held up. what can you fill the damaged wood with and should something be injected to kill possible larvea first?

Cut back punky wood, use a wood hardener product, fill damaged area with the minwax product, bondo, or some epoxy.

The epoxy is the most expensive.
