Pressure Treated Wood

Over in the sister forum for diy under building & construction, Titled Shoddy Pressure Treated wood, a diy sent in pictures of a recent delivery of wood that was not treated properly or is being fraudently misrepresented as pressure treated wood. He could use some more advice from the pro's. The wood is a disgrace. Never in my life have I seen ptw like those in the pictures. That lumber supply yard is a disgrace too. Take a look at it. I advised him to demand again that they take the wood back and get a refund of his money.

It looks like they dipped all the boards in green stain while they were bundled together.

Supposedly treated or not. Those boards won't last in exterior conditions where they are bare.

I think the lumber yard must have bought a load of it from auction and is now stuck with it and dumping it off on naive diy's.
