it was a lousy choice of materials .
on a windy day one of the doors slammed open hard .
the hardy-backer broke off. its kind of brittle . its water proof , but doesn`t really take a beating well.
I`d go with a good pine or cypress "t&g" , and then put your cross members to keep it straight , and racked.
glued and screwed with deck-screws .
if your worried about rot, paint it with " wood-life" preservative before you paint it.
just make sure you PAINT THE BOTTOM !!
I used LP Smart side and same with trim, used liquid nails and screws and let the door lay flat overnight to let the adhesive dry. I also put pieces of scrap 1 x 4's on the backside where each hinge is to receive longer hinge screws for added strength
