I'll laugh at this farm boy from Santa Rosa, CA. I'm near Santa Rosa and it's the typical farmboy that is a wannabe pro...Investment in a used truck.......A real pro wouldn't be driving around a 2nd hand truck...he'd be running a new or late model CAT or Chevy GMC 4500, 6500, iszusu or something. 12 tape measures... one for every 1" lack of his "man assetts"

Re: I Hired An Installer Today

To me it doesn't make sense to have a box attached to such a chassis/cab. Too much truck for too little cargo. Unless hes hauling gold or lead ingots on weekends. And I refuse to buy the plastic toy horses. EMCO's for me. Why not a van/cutaway? What weight is it registered at? If i had the cash I would spring for something like this.

Re: I Hired An Installer Today

I think the fact that the truck was so well organized and didn't look like a bomb had exploded in a tool store was impressive. As a cabinetry installer her could be transporting solid surface/granite slabs and other such items as well as cabinetry in it which could require a decent payload capacity. As someone who always tried to make the most minimal vehicles do what I wanted I'm trying to be a convert to the idea of buying more truck than I'll need(maybe not as much as him...but it's better than a guy showing up in a Civic).

Most of that post is rediculous

All of that post is absurd.

He is far from a wanna be.
The small thing is just uncalled for.

I bet he would park that rig in the garage you were born with given the opportunity.

All of these posts are void of any use at all. I just don't understand what effect they are supposed to produce. The only thing they do is annoy anyone that reads them and drives your reputation into the dirt.
If that is what you are after, great job.

I wonder what would drive slowforthecones to worry and obsess over the size of another mans penis so much.

We need an in house shrink to explain stuff like this.

Tell us what he used to do?

I think he has been in the building trades for most of his work years.

He is a general contractor that should be a motor head custom truck builder. He is very meticulous and well organized almost to a fault.

His skill sets are quite broad when it comes to building stuff. In the shop end of his office is a vehicle lift and a custom 4x4 on steroids that he is building. I will have to get some pics to show you. Not my passion but surely it is his.

He just likes big trucks. He says that this truck is not that bad on fuel either. As hard as that is to imagine.

Just thought maybe he was used to hauling
some monster trailer.
Or installing bank vault doors.
