How To Tile A Shower Floor???

Hello All,

Just got this shower room job and dont know much about how to do the floor. I installed dozens of shower trays till now but this time the customer wants tile floor. I am a carpenter with good tiling experience. I would be very happy if anyone explains just how to do the floor in a shower room step by step.

Thanks

I don't know if it's a little late. But, you can do it a couple of ways. I've done it with a rubber lining and in fiberglass. I liked the fiberglass way better. If you still need help with it, I would be more then willing to answer any questions you may have.

oh oh pick me pick me OK go to home depot and get a book on tile sounds kinda dumb yea I know what you tile pros are thinking but at least it will have some photos for him you have to build your pan first then put down your linner then float your mortar so it will slope to your drain 1/4 per ft should do it adjust your drain up for the tile it is not a easy job for a first timer mix your mortar kinda dry then put down your thin set and lay your tile out side working in towards the drain good luck with it the first one is the hardest be sure and charge a lot it is a lot of work not like doing floors a 3x3 ft pan is about 600 what was your bid on this ?
