Handrail For Exterior


Do any of you guys have a site that sells exterior handrails, I have a customer who wants to replace this handrail thats above her front porch, No one walks up there it's just for looks, but she wants some thing fancy to stand out and HD and Lowes just don't get it, Thanks

I may be misunderstanding you, but I'd look at one of the deck railing company's. Personally, for railing it would be TimberTech for me, followed by premier if you're looking for something other than white or black.

If all she wants is a decorative wrought iron looking railing, find a local fabricator. This is what we've done, and never regretted that relationship! It's built to our specifications, and it's pretty competitively priced.

Not sure of your definition of fancy, or price range, but if yopu are talking bold, classical looking stuff, check out the "Fypon" products. There are a few other fiberglass/pvc products out there also. None are cheap, also be sure to see how they connect, some are quite ugly with exposed sockets and clips.

I'm assuming your talking metal. Go see a black smith. They will have a bounch of beautiful metal handrail options. Or be able to reproduce what she currently has through forging.
