Covering Unsightly HVAC
As of recent I’ve been asked to build some wooden radiator covers. The most recent one, which called me this week, wants louvers in the front and granite on top. My only concern is warping and drying out of the wood. I’ve seen other ones with ¼” foam insulation tacked on the inside. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Jon |

Re: Covering Unsightly HVAC
Ok I answered part of my question by reading this tread http://www.contractortalk.com/showth...t=heater+cover
but in addition to proper air circulation, do you guys think a thin foam board tacked on the inside of the unit would be any additional help to the prevention of warping? |
