Question

A Clients House - Opening A Wall Up Completely.

A client of ours is looking to open up a wall between their dining room and living room. That said, it's a 15 foot span.

What I am looking for is a good reputable contractor who would do this work to the "Holmes Standards" and what the approximate cost would be for this sort of work. There would be much more work for this contractor, including installing french doors re-framing and re-building a deck and installing crown molding.

It's difficult to find someone
like that if you are in the
witness protection program.

Holmes is a hack. 3" screws are illegal in 3/4 of the applications he uses them in. He would fail every inspection where I am at.

Where are you At did you mean John Holmes??

That sounds GREAT!

If I give you a low enough figure on this 15' span, am I guaranteed this other work?

Seems like the Federal Marshall
Service would have come up
with a brochure for this sort of
thing by now.

Drive-by poster. 1 hour later and the are still on but haven't answered the basic question as to where the heck they are located. I guess they wanted a figure so that they could put a proposal together for the HO. At least I hope they are smart enough to mark up the cost once they find someone to give it to them.

Listing a location and exactly what "Holmes standard's" is would be helpful.

I know what Walley standards are.

How 'bout:

"We build Great Stuff, and the Boss Has 15 inches of Steamin' Hot Conga!"

That might work.
