Can Anybody Identify This?

we have a no-name door that we are trying to find hardware for- hinges/handles. it's an exterior custom french patio door. it was a display module and no hardware was sent with it. it has january 2005 markings but no manufacturer markings. any ideas on where to find some hardware? i have checked all the local home depot/specialty stores. please see the attached pics. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Can Anybody Identify This?

Did you remove the lock from the door and look for anything on the mechanism case? If nothing, I would try bringing it to a hardware supplier that deals in architectural hardware (metal doors and commercial locks) . You probably have a better chance of them recognizing the manufacturer, or at least being able to get generic replacement parts to make it work. Hinges just look like standard 5/8" radius butts.

Is the photo distorted, or is that the tallest, skinniest door unit I have ever seen?

I put some emtek handles on 3 sets of doors that had what looked like exactly that same mechanism. One set of doors (older than the others) had the mechanism flipped opposite the other set, so i know they make a wide variety to cover all those types.

Lemieux doors - artisan series maybe, but it looks similar to several manufacturers lock sets.

Re: Can Anybody Identify This?

Ear, it looks to be a knockoff of a baldwin mortise style entry set with the woodwork done by machine production jig.

It would be best if you can get the missing parts from whoever did not send them because it could run 4-5 hundred bucks for Baldwin hardware.

I can get that stuff at a local shop that sells interior hardware, and you should be able to do so in your area... ask a couple people..
Take in a picture and measurements of the spread.
Door's got to be at least 1 3/4" fo Baldwin, but that's probably not an issue.

Online, Architectural builders supply has 'em, but there might be a less expensive source...

Gosh, whatever you get, I really can't advise oiled brass finish!
It can look great, but shows any little bit of abuse.
