American Hammers In The Uk?
Hi,this is my first post,i just wanted to know what hammers American carpenters prefer for day to day carpentry.My old estwing is tired and i would like to try something different [available in uk]. Thanks.

I use a Vaughan Rig Axe.

I prefer a 32 oz Vaughn, for framing and trim. One hammer does it all.

Re: American Hammers In The Uk? oh god, a 32 oz for trim as well, must be some beefy casings your installing to need a little extra mmph to get a joint to fit tight

i hit my 28 oz estwing with a circ saw. works fine. ran it over with a pick up works fine. now i really want to figure how i could break it. A friend of mine (not a carpenter) bought and estwing with a $10 warrant.y it made me laugh
