What kind of mechanical contractor are you?

Did you take the knockouts out?

Is the drain line blocked?

Whats in the drain pan?

Is the coil level or leaning backwards?

Negative pressure on the drain line can often mean that you don't have a trap or a trap of the proper weir dimension on the drain line. Veturi effect.

adjust the fan speed on air handler. you only need 400cfm per ton.

I'm just eaves dropping on your conversation, but am curious about the 400cfm/ton comment. If the fan speed is too great, will that cause the negative pressure in the AHU? And also, how would that effect the cooling system in general (i.e. outlet temp would be higher but greater quantity-so does it still take longer to cool home)?

WTF is up with all the new users with only like 2 or 3 posts, not making any sense, and with just about the same names....

If the drain is properly trapped then you are hurting for air (not enough return) my improper english using friend. Whats with the alter ego answer? Stevie wonder could see that relationship.
