Help with true or false question"please"

To "rod" a sewer pipe means to support the sewer pipe with a reinforcing metal rod. True or false? This just mean that we clean it right? can any pro-plumber help me with this question? Thank you.

A sewer rodder is a "snake" to a layman.

thank you guys

I have been searching for the answer to this question for a couple of days now. Can you guys help with more?

Briefly list various items to be checked when performing maintenance on a "make ready" or "turn over". First of all, what is a make ready? Is it a pre-assembled electrical units and ???? turn over? I have never heard of these terms before.

Turn over and make ready are basicly the same thing. Make an apartment or other rental ready for the next tennant. Cleaning, repairs, paint, change/shampoo rugs, etc.

More question?

The purpose of a relief valve is to:
a) Release high pressure in case of overheating.
b) Remove excess water from tank.
c) Drain off sediment from bottom of tank.
d) To test to make sure tank works.
e) All of the above.

a. is most correct right? But all the others are somewhat related too don't you agree?

2. A guardette switch on a garbage disposal is use to:
a) Disconnect power to motor.
b) Re-start motor after repairs.
c) Stop motor when something gets caught in it.
d) All of the above.

What is a guardette???

3. When there is a large variance (in excess of 25 degree) between the temperature set on the thermonstat and the actual temperature on an electric range you should:
a) Check power source.
b) Calibrate oven.
c) Install new thermostat.
d) None of the above.

Which one make the most sense to you guys? I am confuse.

Here is the most confusing one

The purpose of a fan limit switch is to:
a) adjust the fan speed in changing room temperature????
b) Stop the fan motor from blowing out the pilot light. (((NO)
c) To shut gas off in the event the fan doesn't operate ((((NO)
d) None of the above

These questions are very confusing to me. Is it just me?

It's not always a rental, when we do complete condo rehabs the turn over is the day the homeowner re-takes possession of the keys.

First of all "Thank you". Second, I am applying for a supervisory position for a construction company. Why are they asking me about the turn-over or make ready question?

What is a guardette??? the little red button that pops out on the bottom when it gets jammed

Which one make the most sense to you guys? I am confuse. You can calibrate the thermostat to some degree, but you can't calibrate the "oven". That's nonsense. I think it's a poorly worded question, and they probably want you to pick B

These questions are very confusing to me. Is it just me? The fan/limit is a control on a warm air furnace that brings on the fan at a certain temperature, and will shut the whole thing down if a high limit temp is exceeded.
These don't sound like construction supervisor questions at all. They sound more like apartment maintenance man questions.

The answer is maybe.

I found asking questions back works: When is payday? When is lunch? Is there a sexual harassment policy? Can I leave now?
