Update
The kitchen is moving along. Glass showed up today so I didn't finish the copper so I could get the glass done. Tomorrow the copper will be finished to the hood. YIPPIE!!! I talked the HO's into buying more copper that will go to the ceiling! That will look better than having paint up there. I will not be able to install the far right row because I now need an additional Jolly profile. I had cut the last one to butt to the hood.

I believe genecarp mentioned he might be using the copper on an upcoming job. I can say, the copper tile cuts fine with a regular wet saw. My advice, don't use a good blade. Opt for a basic one so you don't ruin the good one. It will cut without issue. Also, have a small file with you. When you cut the copper, it will leave burrs on the cut edges and they're sharp!
Overall, very simple to do! Grout will be a different story.

I agree with Neo, the copper is cool....Will the HOers have to polish often to keep it from tarnishing?

Daltile.

care instructions:
"Copper will patina (darken) over time. Topical coatings usually don’t stick to metal products. To slow the aging process, if desired, one can apply a light coat of a high quality non-abrasive Carnauba auto paste wax or plumbers wax to the surface of the copper (NOTE: Abrasives are very common in auto waxes. Make sure there are no abrasives in the wax selected to protect your copper). When dry buff off. This procedure will reduce the exposure to air and thus slow (not eliminate) the aging process as long as the wax is not removed. Be careful not to get the wax in the grout. It could discolor the grout. Although very tough, all metals can scratch or dent, use common sense when choosing the installed location"

The rest of the copper came in and I'm back on it. I need a break after this cut!
