Bamboo flooring and steps

Didn't have the camera with me for before pics. It is 5/8 product glued down to 15/16 plywood. Stairs were some of the most out of square/plumb I have ever come across They were nice and solid...thats about it. I made it work though. HO was very pleased, and he is a retired custom home builder, not the typical clueless to what it takes kind of customer so that made me feel good. He was eyeballin my Festool gear all job long though

Sorry for the out of focus ones...I was tired and my camera is a piece of crap....been beat around the van too much I think.

That's a nice floor job. Where did you get the material? I have not seen that color, I can only find the"natural" and "caramelized". I am going to put bamboo in my home also.

Thanks guys. Sorry for not responding to your question Norm. The product was an Abbey private label, not sure of the actual mill but I can find out for you if you need. I don't know how much you know about wood flooring but I will say, do your research. Quality levels on bamboo varies greatly. It is also a different animal to work with than say oak.

True. There are not only different types of Bamboo, but also bamboo is a better quality when grown in confinement and quality controled during growth.
Wild Bamboo varies widely.
