Titan 440I do I need to strain?

Someone mentioned to me that I need to strain the paint when using my Titan 440I sprayer. Not sure how to do this and suggestions?

hey gabe,
go to the paint store. Purchase a strainer to either fit over your 5 gal bucket or they have a mesh 5gal bag type of strainer.
For me the easiest and cleanest way is to use the strainer that fits over a 5 gal bucket.
get a clean 5 gal bucket.
put your strainer on top.
pour material through the strainer.
put the 440 material tube into the bucket .( there is a spot in the strainer
for this.
keep the strainer on the bucket while spraying and add material when needed.

I used a 440 for a long time. it worked great !
