IPE Decks

We just tried Ben Moore new Hardwood Stain on a 3000 sq ft deck.

Not to impressed with it, but then again have not found anything we like on Mahogany decking...............

Top pic is drying, bottom pic its being applied by brush. Customer speced it out no spraying she had bad experince with last so called painters.

Looks great Ken....what is it? The deck I was doing had a few coats of Mezzners over last few yrs..We stripped with F-18 and used a brightner....

Is that WT?

Looks great guys, Think I haven't tried BM's HW stuff either all tho I never like any of there Deck stains, here in Chicago I use penofin on the few hardwood i come across. As for my regular decks I use Sikkens but I know that Ken wouldn't steer any one wrong with the products he uses. If he was in my area I would do decks I would just hand them over to him
