Thanks George.
I am in the process of resizing and getting all the pictures ready for my website guy. The job was finished two weeks ago but we just took the after shots on Thursday.

I didn't charge by the hour. The stripes were on a change order. I ball parked how long it would take. I came pretty darn close. The nice thing is now I have some pretty solid production rates for when we do it again in the future.
I think the taping alone took me alone close to one day of work. Maybe 6 hours... It's written down somewhere.

Nice paint job but who came up with the colors? Please blame it on an ID or HO. Nothing goes with anything.
Photo#1: Tropical motif: bedspreads and furniture with somber walls of a conference room.
#2: Looks like the Ringling Bros. painter ate some windowpane. The only coordination that I can see is the near sofa pattern and the far accent wall.
#3: The light wall stripes accent/complement ????? The red appears to go with the 2 items on the coffee table.
#5: A cranberry feature wall with mustard walls???
#6: The valance appears to coordinate with the bedspread but that's about all that I see coming together.
Sorry to hack your job apart but that's why I use ID's, I know that my taste isn't for mainstream. They have taught me much over the years including using them.
Really look at #2, all of it, carpet, furniture, paint, cabinets. It looks like somebody puked a pizza, nothing goes with anything.
BTW, I had a great day and am not imposing any latent feelings, it's just my POV.

We did hire an interior decorator.
They told me where to put the colors and I put them there...

The elderly lady who's home it is, absolutely loves it by the way. She was awesome to work for, cooked us lunch everyday, told us great stories, was just generally a joy to work for...
She also gave me and my main guy Todd a big hug on the last day of work.
So, yes, the colors are not my taste, but I am very happy with the job and the quality of work we put out.

Half the time I cant stand the colors our clients choose but I dont get paid to like the colors only to apply them. Even if I think its the worst color in the world I shut my mouth and keep on paintin.

Key word in quote is "Elderly" As soon as I saw the first pic I knew it right away, old people! Anyway the work looks great!
I have been outside all summer can't wait to get back inside, should be soon!

I appreciate the work and talent that went into painting those rooms....looks like a great job. I want to say right here that as an ID I never ever had the slightest desire to put all those colours together in one home. Bless her heart I hope that she doesn't love it just because a decorator put it together for her. I'm also hoping that what is on the walls is a lot better than my monitor is showing.
Cheers
Mary
