Coatings To Cover Imperfections

My company is working on detail job that has required labor intensive fill and sanding work in order to hide the seams between each architectural panel. The desired effect is a continuous, seamless, flowing ceiling. My problem is that there are some flaws in our finish work that are noticible with the finish coat of paint. Has anyone ever worked with a product that will help hide imperfections in the substrate? I would be interested to know what my levels of expectations should be with the finished product, and I am running out of time on this job.

Doe's the position of the glove on the scaffold have any bearing on your problem?

I don't see any panels, or seams on that ceiling.

The imperfections in the joint are hard to see in this light. The waves run lengthwise, and the visible seams run perpindicular to the waves. The seams show up from high spot in the filler material and pitting from the sanding. Natural light washes over the ceiling and places shadows over these spots giving the ceiling a seam.

Tough spot! I have never seen a ceiling like that. I am curious, what level finish did the ceiling dw have? I'm thinking not a level five which, I think, might have avoided this problem.

P.S. What did you do to alleviate the problem? Anything?

That's a very cool looking ceiling.

At least it would be without all those big honking seams all over the place......j/k.
