Before and afters - Hard to tell color was only off by a little.

Is that rough sawn cedar? What did you use to prep it?

Yes it is rough cedar as most of the houses I do are this type of siding. I washed it with tsp and bleach, with a lot of rinising let dry... Prep wise a few seams that needed to be caulked and a few knots to spot prime. I did the house 7 years ago they added an addition to the back so instead of blending the back in they decided to do the whole house, made sense actually
