Chris, got any prints you could show us? Looks might interesting.
I wish I could find an architect to work for, like you have. It must keep things fun!
EDIT: I absolutely love the bathroom! Fits my style perfectly.

You should be proud! Beautiful work. The customer made some nice choices too. Jobs like that allow you to show off.

I don't have any prints in digital form, unfortunately.
The original house was built as a four-square around 1909. The three car garage was added sometime after and a one story, flat roof connection between the house and the garage sometime in the 70s-80s. It was over that one story section we built the new addition. The framing was a ROYAL PITA as we found just about every problem you can imagine when we removed the old flat roof to build our new floor system.
Overall it was tons of fun and gave up more than it's fair share of stories when it was all said and done--(a dumpster fire in sub-zero weather which my guys put out with a garden hose, a storm that came through toward the end and wiped out 8-10 old growth trees but spared the house, etc.)

Thank you. This was one of those rare projects when the client had faith in both the builder and designer and largely stayed out of the way when it came to design and materials selections.

Which bathroom, I really likes the basket weave and subway tile. Must be nice for the kids to have their own bathrooms (plural), the seven of us shared one and eventually two.
Very nice work.

Thanks for the compliments--I really appreciate it. We do all of our finish work in-house (mill work, cabinetry, tile, etc.) and I'm very proud of the work my guys did here.
I get very sentimentally attached to the houses we work on--especially when the house has a history. Seeing a family move back in and really LOVE the spaces you've built for them makes the 100,001 other headaches that go along with remodeling well worth it. These clients were great every step of the way--appreciative of our work and accommodating when there were challenges to overcome. (Why is it as soon as I tear the roof off a house it brings on a ten year rain?)
