To actually appreciate the full flavor of any booze, straight is the only way to go. Maybe on the rocks if it's a little harsh.

Cranberry worked for me until I put a couple of shots into cherry juice.
Had to quit doing that because the cherry juice got too expensive, now I just pour it over Ice with a wedge of lime.
