My flakey customers kitchen

The job I did before her bathroom. It had soffits and a microwave with a recycle vent above the stove area. She wanted new lights under the upper cabs and beside the stove. Saved as much as the old cabs as possible. They were in good shape, just not up to date.
Moved the island and took out the drawer and doors for a microwave. Had to make new side faces for the island to fit the corbels that would go under the new top.

Solid maple 4x8,fairly rough, for the corbels.... Sanded and squared, What a pain. DID NOT charge nowhere near enough for that.
New side face frame for the island. I did poplar since it was going to be glazed.
Better shot of the M-V.

New casement window. The designer wanted a dual, stainless steel, radius top one. The HO couldve **** when I told her the quotes I got, 4-5Gs. I got a PVC one for a LOT less.

The finished product turned out nice. I like the look of the mesh on cabinet doors, but not on the sink cab where you can see plumbing through it. Nice job on it.

Just curious if you dont mind, what was the total cost for this job materials and labor included? Look awesome considering a lot of the old kitchen was re-used

She has expensive tastes, so a Dacor vent and range top, Rohl fixtures, and a Shaw sink, just after their place in England burned down,( or so I heard)
Did the counter tops in the hall bath also.

If I remember right, somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 Gs.Not counting replacing a rotted exterior door and repairing the bad floor. And a new mantel.

A+ on craftmanship. I would give the designer a C- but it would be lower if I didn't score the sink window so high as well as her choice for the farm sink.

How could the design get an A you ask? The tile up to the ceiling is not a great idea in this space for one and the area between the the cooktop and bronze hood is screaming for a mosaic design.

I love the mesh (as someone noted) but not on that cab.

Sorry I am not a "single" sconce guy either.
