Knotty pine heaven

Basement remodel started this week. Got to love that 1950's knotty pine. Doing about 2/3 of the basement, the rest will be for boiler and existing laundry area. Including a small bath and small kitchen, more or less a studio apartment. It was knotty pine heaven.

Dumped all that pine and rubbish, finished most of the framing this week. I'll be starting on laying out the bath walls tomorrow so the plumbing can be started. I'm not looking forward to busting up holes for the plumbing, the kitchen run is around 20ft away. Blocked up two window openings and installed one new window. Had to cut the opening a little bigger, the window is actually not for light, it will be a crawl space access for an addition that might be started this spring. Things are moving along.
