Re: Indianapolis Master Bath Remodel Photos

Chris, as always, beautiful work.

I have one question about the wood stains in the first after pic. Is it the lighting or are there 3 distinct stain colors? In the other pics the door is obviously a lighter stain but are the casings and the cabinetry different also? It's like those pictures; which one is not like the other...I thought you said the vanities and casing are both cherry but it that one pic, they look different.

Anyway, I love that the tile dimensions were taking into account in the design phase. I always try to either pick tile size based off defined space or if building, build to tile size. That's awesome. I know you thought of that, right

Again, excellent craftsmanship!

That is just simply.....Great!

Taking the before and getting to the finished was a work of art...great ideas, use of space, and unity....etc...

Thanks for your reply to magnettica...really shows what a good team, putting egos aside, can produce.

I agree with magnettica, that's the nicest bathroom I've seen.

I don't really care for the KINKY toilet...but it's just another facet that makes the job that much more amazing to me.

Thanks Angus. There are only two species of wood, and neither are stained.

The pocket doors are pine, the rest is cherry.

The difference in color between the cherry casings and the cherry cabinet doors is because the former is solid and the latter veneer. The solids have deepened in color much faster than the veneers in the room.

Gotcha. Truth be told, I'm not quite color-blind but I'm definitely color-challenged.
I didn't know if it was the lighting or....just me.

I think that is my favorite shower I've seen you do. Love all the natural light in there.

Top notch...top notch!

Great work Chris.
Gotta love the Toto Washlets.
I have installed a few of them.
And tested each one. TMI?

Looks great, have you seen the Toto version that has the washlet built in? Big $$$$.

Hot mopped pan? Red guard alcoves?

Pre-slope, liner, mud bed.

Walls are DensShield, with Hydroban. Alcoves were custom built as we went up the wall to fit the layout, then also Hydroban-ed.

Re: Indianapolis Master Bath Remodel Photos

very nice work-even the contrast of the door casing/jamb and pine door is pleasing to look at.

the shower door slide is great-I love the look of it-similar to a 50's barn I saw as a kid...except not rusted

I'd settle for being "one" of the best. There are a lot of very talented guys around here.

I was sifting through the paperwork for this project today and found this rendering the designer did after the project was complete:

Great project and the site looks better everyday Help me with "mitered granite counters"? Not a term/process I'm familiar with.
