Heavily rotted bathroom remodel

This one was an easy one,complete tearout/new circuits/new framing/tile shower/tile floors/cabinets/marble counter/window/fan light combo... blah blah blah.

It had lots of dryrot from a leaking shower.

After

And progress pictures of the project:

Before

all cleaned up and starting to frame

Very nice.

Let's see a shot looking back at the new arc you put in.

Have you ever used the Nobel niche's instead of making them yourself?

Thanks Mike.

Are the Nobel niches those preformed tile niches? I never use them....I may use them someday just to try them out though.

Heres the framed arch pics

Sheetrock going up

Finished and painted.

Very nice as usual A W That cabinet with the pullout is sweet, deffinetly makes some easy access storage. Nice touch too with the arch and the matching nook.

Well done, but why is everything Oiled Bronze except the trip lever on the W/C? Was it an over site or did the HO refuse to pay for it?

Good observation!

The homeowners ordered all the bathroom fixtures and werent too concerned about the toilet lever finish. I pointed it out and they said "ohh....thats okay"

Ohh and the vanity light is the same finish as the toilet lever

Yeah, they are the styrofoam ones. They are all we use now, too easy to use. The running joke is okay, watch... I'm going to build the niche... slap it in place with some silicone around it, okay done! 5 seconds elapsed time and no worries about leaks, insulation or anything else.

I used to hand frame or build my own, but never again.
