I'd consider that good design as it is. For a right handed person, you grip the door with your right hand and reach in to turn on the shower. Being it's a Euro door, it should swing in, but most people still will pull a door out, and since it has dual shower heads if you got in the habit of pushing it in it would be in the way of the access to the other shower valve anyways if hinged the other way.

I was hoping that was white thinset. Just say it is. Drywall mud, even setting compound wouldn't be a really good idea for those joints.

The design was all the homeowner.

We bought mosiac sheets and hand cut them to make the design.

He loves video games and it was a legend of Zelda pattern if I remember correctly.
one big one the bathfloor and two on the shower floor. The door swings both in and out. so you can access both sides of the shower. It is a USG brand plaster for masonary walls. Sorry Mike

the code was for the door to swing out but they changed it in 2003 I think
