But you'll notice, I always level my switch covers!
Looks like the recessed lighting is new though.

The pendant lights over the peninsula look outstanding. Nice touch there for sure.

Lmao. mdshunk is great! the bright white sets them off like crime scene tape. you should swing by and switch all of them to black with stainless cover plates. trust me on this one.

The HO was given the option to have any color outlets/covers as an upgrade but chose the basic white. Don't ask me. I tried talking her into something else but she didn't want to pay for the upgrade. I gave her brown on the end of the peninsula for free because I just couldn't take cutting into the decorative end panel and put white in it

I would say not. Electrical passed inspection. While the only outlets that were moved/added were for the micro and oven yet the inspector said nothing about adding. Not sure of code (I wasn't on site for inspection, electrician was) but I assumed it was a 3' rule which is why we didn't have to add. We did put the dishwasher on its own circuit, disposal on its own, micro on its own, frig on its own, added 240v for the oven, 3 circuits for the GFIs and 2 circuits for the lighting.

I agree with the outlets. I would have preferred to had everything aligned but the HO didn't want to pay for it. The house is piped so there was a bit more labor involved to get it that way.

I appreciate the comments!

I can see what everyone is talking about once they point the little bitty things out. I am unfortunately not a professional like many of the members on this site...yet! But I will say that my first impression of this kitchen was WOW! it looks so amazing. It's inspiring to know with countless hours of hard work and time, normal people can eventually learn to do something so amazing! keep up the great work!
