Just A Roof

So I was walking through a village not far from where I live when I was stopped dead by a roof. Not a fancy building or a big job may be two or three men but some jobs just say quality.
I looked at it and just thought craftsmen at the very top of their game.
Enjoy.

I think that might almost qualify as a work of art.

Yep, that's how they're done. Lots of things like that could be done with shingles too, but everybody is wrapped in their cocoon of manufacturer warranty issues. Slate and copper don't come with roof manufacturer warrantees like shingles, but last decades. Composition roofing dies after 6-8 years sometimes. Go figure.
