The Control Scape controller is actually more like a desk top alarm. I usually put it in a corner where no one will mess with it.

So this stuff is basically a more advanced X-10 setup. I am not at all impressed with X-10. Just feels really cheap and I had a lot of issues with filters and magnetic versus electronic transformers. I did read the site and it says it's 1000 times more reliable than X-10. Would you agree?

This system works on the same premise as X-10 only on steroids. It sends out a signal that's 100 times stronger and does not experience the interference that X-10 does. It really works well.
