10 days and counting. Big screen, HDTV and Tivo are being discussed. I'm fortunate, Ol#2 loves football as much as I do.

Re: Are You Ready For Some Football?

I've always been more of a fan of the Redskins and the Steelers. The Chiefs might be the state team but I have never been able to get enthused about them although I do like Vermil's version better than I think I will the new improved version. The Bears are the favorite of the son in law and his family. They have rooms decorated with Bear themes.

End the discussion. It's a MUST. Went 53" 5 years ago and I can't even think about having, or watching anything less.

FINLEY:

....When I am in CO I always make it a point to try and catch the Buffs/CO.State game (first game of year I think?? Maybe not) Not a fan of either, but what a rivalry. Fun just to watch at a local bar/eatery. When I first lived in CO to when I came back, the Bronks stadium changed....what a disapointment. For football, there is something about, the uglier something is, the cooler it is. Ya know? And nothing was more hideous than the old stadium.

I don't think there are any Titan's fans... in Tn or otherwise.

Admitting to liking the Titans is about as bad as saying your a Bengals or Browns fanatic.

Go Colts... and Patriots...and Packers... ok, so I'm an indecisive female, but atleast I know my Tight Ends from the Wide Receivers. lol

We all went through a little remorse over the new stadium, but it pretty quickly died after maybe the first season since once you went there you realized how awesome the new one was compared to the old. However, the one big thing I do miss from the old one was the walk way that ran all the way around the field, you could walk that path and be about 15 feet from the players, that was awesome, the new one keeps you pretty well back.

The bigger controversy was the naming of the new stadium, it got change to Invesco field from Mile High when Invesco bought the rights, of course with Invesco being no backrupt it opens up a whole new question about the name. There was a big grass roots effort of citizens to never say the word Invesco and keep calling it Mile High, but Invesco caught on and changed the name to "Mile High at Invesco Field" and out smarted everybody.

It was funny for a while to listen to the professional sports announcers having to say the Broncos playing at "Mile High at Invesco Field" every time they referred to the field, but they soon grew tired of saying the whole thing and got lazy and started referring to it as just Invesco Field. Some smart as marketers out smarted the public.

For some odd reason I've never been able to get into pro cause of the t.o.'s and the braylon eward's. I've always preferred college over pro anyway for some reason.

Mine won't be here until nov when ohio state beats the team up north yet again. Last weekend was a great #1 against #2, But nothing beats the ohio state rivalry with the team up north

I went to OSU. My first year dorm room was under the stadium (yes, there's dorms under there). I got free tickets to every game if I signed up for them. I'm not a football fan, so I sold them on the street. Good money.
