Workout Equipment

Okay here is the situation, my son came to me the other day and asked me if he could order this exercise equipment. No problem right, well here is the problem i see with it. The exercise equipment hooks to the door at the top and the bottom, from there you pull on this stretch bands to do the series of exercises. So here is the question, does anyone see the potential problems of this or am i wrong? Thanks for the help.

Re: Workout Equipment

The way I've seen some doors hung and trimmed? How about getting KOd by the entire assembly?

Chances are, the whole works coming out is extreme, but depending on the type and quality of the door, I can see other problems manifesting over time. Some of the hollow core masonite doors being manufactured now have very little structural integrity. I have an image of the door failing at the bore for the backset, which would cause the door to open violently, especially if your son is overly ambitious with the power bands.

Re: Workout Equipment

get him a set of select tech dumbbells from bowflex. I love mine, and he could do any lift he wants with them, AND they are compact and won't take up a whole room.
