Wood Pellets VS. Corn?

Well, I have a 1/2" of snow on the ground with a high temp 41* today and doesn't look like it's gonna get any warmer.

So, I have the stove burnin away and need some more pellets. The stuff has gone up in price again and was thinkin of switching over to corn, seems to be alot cheaper and burns hotter. Anyone burn corn vs. wood pellets?

I have to say that's pretty awesome heating with corn. I grew up in the cold a$$ mid west with corn fields every where and never heard of it.

My parents used an oil furnace up 'til this summer when their AC took a dump and just had a heatpump installed so with the cold setting in it will be their first winter on it.

Plus they have/had a traditional fireplace in the living room.
