I had a former employee call me last week for a loan. He worked for me for a summer about 3 years ago. He said hey I was wondering if i could borrow a little money from you. I asked how much, he replied 25,000. I busted out laughing.

I just want to know where someone gets the nerve to ask for that.

I have trouble asking my own family for money, I know I couldn't ask one of my former employers for that much money.

Sorry that didn't come out quite right. I meant I wouldn't feel comfortable asking a past employer for any amount of money.
